Dismayed from Using Facebook from Mobile Phones
It was a peaceful Sunday morning for me and I was on the mood to go for some shopping. I just received my salary and a little bonus, so I ought to buy something for myself. Aside from the intention of buying some stuff, I was also excited to open my facebook account using my mobile phone. I haven’t checked on my account for almost a week and I was excited to open it for updates. Keyed up to open my account, there was then a problem with facebook on blackberry. I could not even connect to the website even if the wifi access was fast. I was also concerned maybe the problem was with my mobile phone. I just purchased this a month ago and it would be of great concern if ever the problem was with my blackberry. If that is so, I would have to set aside a budget for it to be fixed. It is disturbing to know that a mobile phone purchased a month ago would have problems like this. Perhaps this could be a result of numerous mobile phones created by these companies. I just hope this will be covered by the warranty that I additionally paid for so that I won’t be able to spend much on fixing it.
Meeting Our Long Lost Classmates Through Facebook
It has been ten years since I last attended college and I have hardly been in touch with any of my classmates. Occasionally I get a call from some of them or I make a call to them sometimes. With almost everyone connected to the Facebook these days I thought would it not be a good idea to create a group on Facebook. But how to create a group on facebook I wondered so I asked my best friend to create one for our college. I forwarded the invitation mail to some of my batch mates and asked them to forward it to others whom they are in contact with. In this way in a couple of months there were all sixty of us connected to each other. I could not even think of such a thing a couple of months ago but this has been possible now and it is all because of Facebook. I think it is a wonderful networking site and it has truly made the world a smaller place to live.
